Senior Care & Support Workers assist the Scheme Manager in running the scheme including compliance with the residential care home regulations, other statutory requirements and Radius's own policies and procedures. In the absence of the Scheme Manager, a Senior Care & Support Worker will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the scheme.

 

The Care & Support Assistants will deliver care and support services which promote the welfare and wellbeing of residents and safeguard them from harm.

 

Hours:             37 per week

1. Ability to read, write and communicate in English, as evidenced by a relevant qualification, or experience of demonstrating literacy in English in an education or work environment.

 

2. Basic numeracy skills, as evidenced by relevant qualification or use of numeracy in a education or work environment.

 

3. Experience of working as part of a team.

 

4. Willingness to undertake training for the role.

 

​​​​​​​5. Willingness to register with NISCC (Northern Ireland Social Care Council) as a requirement of the role.
