Secondment Opportunity with Fermanagh & Omagh District Council - Accountant

About the Role
The successful applicant will work between The Townhall, Enniskillen or the Grange, Omagh (Homeworking will also apply in line with current Covid restrictions), and will be expected to provide professional financial support, advice and guidance to support the decision making in Councils services, in compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and strategies.
To support the Head of Finance and lead/manage in defined service areas (e: treasury and capital activities; estimates process; management accounting) and ensure effective communication around financial and associated matters.
To support the Finance Department in the delivery of a range of modern, efficient, effective and responsive Financial services for the Council, including system and process development and the implementation of technology.
