RSPB NI Volunteer Drivers (LIFE Raft project)

RSPB NI

Other
Voluntary role
This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting project which is saving Northern Ireland’s most important seabird colony. Duties will include driving from locations across Northern Ireland to/from the Rathlin ferry terminal in Ballycastle.

We’re a small but dynamic international team with experts joining us from around the world, and this role will play a key part in getting them to and from Rathlin. This kind of ambitious project also requires lots of bespoke and niche equipment, so there would be occasional requests for assistance with picking up and dropping off deliveries and orders.

Duties to include:

  • Collecting staff and contractors from either airport in Northern Ireland and take them to the Rathlin Island ferry terminal in Ballycastle and vice versa.
  • Collecting goods from various locations across Northern Ireland and take to the Rathlin Island ferry terminal in Ballycastle.
  • Collecting vehicles from various locations across Northern Ireland and take to the Rathlin Island ferry terminal in Ballycastle and vice versa
