Residential Volunteering opportunities at Corrymeela Ballycastle

We are recruiting for the following posts: Centre Support Team (2 posts); Volunteer Lived Community Support (2 posts); Volunteer Pastoral Support (1 post) and Volunteer Office Assistant at our Centre in Ballycastle.

Corrymeela is currently recruiting for volunteers to join our Centre Support and Volunteer Support Team for a period of 1 year with the option of extending to 2 years. The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Thursday 2nd August 2018, with interviews being held the week commencing Monday 6th – Friday 10th August The start date will be discussed with successful applicants. This team is a key part of our overall centre and volunteering system. The team’s core focus is to work in direct support of the daily operations of the Centre and contribute to the smooth running of the Volunteering Programme. A core element of this will be to contribute to and model out with our staff, guests and volunteers the ethos of Transforming Division through Human Encounter. This ethos acts as the core aspiration for our common commitment to the work of reconciliation. Whilst we have recruited some of the team, we are now looking for others to fill the remaining roles (individuals, couples or families – family recruitment will depend on availability of family accommodation). We are also recruiting for a Volunteer Office Assistant for a period of 1 year with the possibility of extending to 2 years. The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Thursday 2nd August 2018, with interviews being held the week commencing Monday 6th August 2018. The start date will be discussed with successful applicants. The core focus of the Volunteer Office Assistant will be to support the daily function of the Volunteering Department in relation to marketing & recruitment and the smooth operations of the volunteering programme. A core element of this will be administrative support to the Volunteer Manager.
