Reach Mentoring are recruiting a part-time (20 hours per week) Connect Programme Coordinator for the Armagh area. The post will run from 19th February 2025 - 30th June 2025 with possibility of extension from September 2025 (pending funding)

Reach Mentoring’s vision is that every young person unleashes their full potential to be the best version of themselves that they can be. Our mission is to create positive, informing, and empowering mentoring relationships with children and young people while working in partnership with local schools, churches, and relevant agencies.

As Reach Mentoring continues to develop, we seek to employ a Connect Programme Coordinator, in which we are looking for an enthusiastic person to build upon established partnerships in local schools and become engrained in the local community.

The post will involve supporting young people who are at risk of educational exclusion due to behavioural issues and those facing difficult life issues such as family bereavement, low self-worth, substance misuse, anxiety, etc. In conjunction with the senior management team the worker will develop and implement a mentoring programme to meet the needs of young people aged 9 to school leaver with the above mentioned issues in partnership with schools in the Armagh area.
