The key duties of this post will be to provide the children with a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment.

In conjunction with the Leader, plan, organise and implement, a programme of learning activities to promote progression in learning for each child. Carry out observations linking to the pre-school curriculum.

Work in a keyworker system and liaise with parents/carers and outside professionals

Work as part of a highly motivated and professional team.

Essential Criteria : QCF 3 Diploma in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (or equivalent) or currently undertaking a course of study that will lead to the above qualification.

Desirable Criteria: Degree in Early Year’s Education /Early Childhood Studies

Experience in a setting implementing the NI Preschool Curriculum within the last 5 years.

Current Paediatric First Aid & Child Protection Certificates.
