Job Purpose
- The facilitation of the therapeutic project via the implementation of group and one-to-one work with key clients.
- Assist with the facilitation of a participative environment enabling the client to gain increasing independence and to develop to their full potential.
- You will participate in a programme of care to support people live independently, complete and support individual plans and associated administration and actively participate in training and staff support meetings.
- You will be committed and passionate about improving the lives of people we support living with mental illness.
Essential criteria
- GCSE English and Mathematics Grades A – C or demonstrable equivalent e.g., Essential Skills Level 2 or a psychology degree or any allied health / social work qualification.
- Six months’ full-time experience or equivalent working in a Health & Social Care Environment, i.e., mental health, rehabilitation or learning disability.
- To be fully flexible as the role of Project Worker will involve working on a rota/shift basis in a mental health setting. Shifts will include early shifts, night shifts, weekend and / or night cover as requested.
- 1 years’ demonstrable working experience of working with Microsoft (MS) Office systems to include Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Desirable criteria
- Possess a current and valid driving licence or have access to a form of transport that will permit the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.
- Proven Experience working in mental health.
