Hours: 35 per week
(Monday to Thursday 08:30-16:30 & Friday 08:30-15:15)
The Role:
The overall purpose of the post is to provide a support and information service to children, young people and adults regarding mental health promotion and suicide and self-harm prevention with the aim of developing their awareness, knowledge and understanding, and to provide resources and signpost people to effective sources of support when appropriate. The role will involve working with a wide variety of organisations across Northern Ireland.
You will have (essential):
- Educated to A Level/ RQF Level 3 or equivalent in a related discipline (health, education/training or social care sector)
- Paid or voluntary experience of working with people with mental health needs and/or children & young people
- Experience in developing and extending relevant networking opportunities
- Experience of delivering training in a group setting (groups 8ppl+)
- A full current driving licence and access to a car is essential. Consideration will be given to alternative travelling proposals in respect of applicants with a disability who cannot hold a licence
