Project Support Worker

The MALE project will involve isolated, vulnerable and disengaged men from the Outer North Area of Derry in a wide range of community, social, learning, economic and culture activity.  It will increase skills, opportunities, volunteering and employability as well as address confidence, isolation and well-being issues in a social group that is under represented in community life.  The project will have 5 activity streams and also bring benefit to the wider community, build community cohesion, create a volunteer base and support social enterprise activity in an area of high disadvantage.

MALE is designed to offer men the opportunity to join a long-term programme that provides support to progress through various stages until they are ready to return to education, access statutory training courses or enter employment.
