The post is based at TCV's Ravenhill Road office in South Belfast with projects being delivered throughout the city and greater Belfast area.

The post is based at TCV's Ravenhill Road office in South Belfast with projects being delivered throughout the city and greater Belfast area. Project sites include community gardens and allotments, shared greenspaces, Health Trust settings, schools and community hubs. The Project Officer will be part of a busy team with access to shared resources, tools and vehicles.

We are seeking a highly motivated, organised, adaptable and committed person to join the team for this important post. This post holder will work alongside other staff on the delivery of practical conservation projects. The post holder will help plan and prepare contracted work as well as supervise a volunteer group of mixed abilities, on projects in urban and rural locations every week throughout the year. The role is primarily Tues - Sat, but on occasions evening work may be required with time off in lieu.

The successful applicant will:
- Have had some of experience working in the environment sector or similar.
- Be able to plan and supervise and run local projects, engaging with the local community.projects including ordering materials and other logistics.
- Be able to demonstrate an understanding of a range of practical conservation tasks
- Oversee the recruitment, induction and support of Volunteers
-Experience of working with and leading volunteers from a range of ages, backgrounds and abilities is a strong advantage.

A full driving licence is required as the post holder has use of a company vehicle.

A full, clean or near clean UK driving licence is required for this post, which has been held for a minimum of one year.

To fulfil the role, you must be resident in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
