To provide project support to the Project Coordinator for Childminding Academies.

Key Duties

  1. To deliver and efficient and conscientious administration and support service for all NICMA staff.
  2. To provide general administrative, clerical and secretarial services, including filing, photocopying, and emailing and produce relevant documentation for Project Coordinator.
  3. To assist with the smooth running of the NICMA office.
  4. To act as the first point of contact for telephone enquiries about Childminding Academies - answering calls and returning messages courteously, accurately and promptly.
  5. To respond to all communication enquires in a prompt, efficient and thoughtful manner.
  6. To provide relevant advice and information to individuals and signpost to relevant services or organisations.
  7. To enter data into relevant databases and maintain accurate records.
  8. To liaise with Project Co-Coordinator to assist with all prospective Registered Childminders and Approved Home Childcarers.
  9. Ad hoc duties as required.

Essential Criteria:

You must be able to demonstrate the following essential skills and experience:

  1. Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an administrative role
  2. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  3. Project experience.

Additionally, you should also possess the following competencies:

 

  1. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and delegate tasks effectively
  2. Ability to cope under pressure, in a calm and efficient manner to set deadlines
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  4. Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  5. Ability to work effectively within a team.
  6. Experience of demonstrating a high level of customer focus
