Project Co-Ordinator

 

Location:

Redburn and Loughview Community Forum, 95B Abbey Ring, Holywood, BT18 9PRE

 

Hours:

35 hrs per week (Due to the nature of work, evenings and/or weekend hours may be required)

Responsible to:

Chairperson

 

Contract Period:

June 2025 (subject to extension)

 

Leave entitlement:

25 days per annum plus statutory days (pro-rata)

 

Job purpose:

To provide strategic planning and delivery of Redburn and Loughview Community Forums’ Peace Impact Programme; and ensure efficient and effective management of the organisation  

 

Key Responsibilities of the role:

 

•  Lead and assist strategic planning and delivery of programmes and projects

•  Mediation for community disputes

•  Lead with community engagement

•  Lead on building relationships with statuary and voluntary partners

•  Source potential funding opportunities

•  Lead to identify opportunities for sustainability

•  Lead on utilisation of RLCF’s community hub

•  Ensure policies and procedures are compliant

•  Assist in the preparation of reports for internal and external stakeholders

•  Manage and maintain a volunteer base

•  Any other reasonable duties that may be required

Personnel Specification

 

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Community & Voluntary sector

• Experience of engagement with a wide range of people and organisations

• Knowledge of the issues affecting communities and specific issues in Redburn and Loughview

• Knowledge of development and delivery of programmes and projects

• Confident communicator

• Excellent written, verbal, and influencing skills

• Experience of managing staff and volunteers

• Ability to work unsupervised, prioritise workloads and work on own initiative

• Proven track record in producing reports with a key eye for detail

• Knowledge of funding agencies and resources

• Good knowledge of completing funding applications

• Excellent IT skills

• Good Knowledge of accounts and budgets

• Experience in project and data analysis experience
