CONSTITUENCY ASSISTANT/CASEWORKER (PART-TIME)
Paul Frew MLA represents North Antrim at Northern Ireland Assembly
Seeking employee on a fixed term contract as a constituency caseworker. (Six-month probation period applies)
The job is 14 hours per week
(Office hours: Wed 09.00 - 17.00 & Fri 09.00 - 17.00) (Closed 1pm-2pm for lunch)
Flexibility may be required
The role requires an organised person who will assist in the delivery of constituency services engaging with constituents dealing with a range of issues including comprehensive cases of complex situations.
Key responsibilities:
Receiving incoming calls and enquires dealing with constituents directly on individual cases sensitively and confidentially
Assisting constituents with forms
Attending tribunals, appeals & meetings on behalf of the MLA
Processing and updating of constituency casework
General Admin support including drafting letters/correspondence/questions etc.
Responding to correspondence and enquires from constituents, data and file management to comply with GDPR

The post is based in the Constituency Office Ballymena but may occasionally include visiting constituents in their home or attending appeal venues.
