This is your opportunity to join the Executive Committee of NICVA as a Trustee, striving to support and represent the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland.
Our Executive Committee is responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of NICVA, developing the vision, mission and values and the organisation's strategic objectives in accordance with the Articles of Association and other legal and regulatory guidelines.
About the role
The Executive Committee is now seeking the expertise of an accountant to join the board.
In addition to the core responsibilities of an Executive Committee member, you will apply your accountancy expertise to:
- Inform, challenge and scrutinise NICVA financial reports and processes
- Support our Resources Committee (Executive sub-committee)
- Support Executive staff with best practice advice on relevant financial matters including financial sustainability, investment and risk management
