GEMS NI is seeking a Mentor to join our South Belfast Community Family Support Project Team; The Community Family Support Project is a Belfast city-wide project led by Upper Springfield Development Trust Salary £25,206 (under review)

MENTOR, GEMS NI  COMMUNITY FAMILY SUPPORT PROJECT

You will have a minimum of NVQ III in Health and Social Care or Equivalent and hold NVQ III in Advice and Guidance (or can confirm you will achieve this by December 2019)

Base: GEMS NI, Shaftesbury Square Belfast  Salary: £25,206 (currently under review)  Hours: 37.5 PW  Holidays 25+ Stat PA   Contract: to March 2022

GEMS NI is seeking a qualified and experienced mentor  to join our Community Family Support project team.  You will be working within the greater South Belfast community designing and delivering needs-led programmes that focus on developing family relations and communications and health and social inclusion programmes that support positive outcomes for families participating in the project.  You will also support  pathways to meaningful and sustainable employment and training outcomes for adult family members who are unemployed/economically inactive and support younger (13-16 years) family members who are at risk of disengagement from school.

The Community Family Support Project is a Belfast City-Wide Project led by Upper Springfield Development Trust with partners, GEMS NI, Ashton Community Trust, East Belfast Mission and Impact Training. The project is funded by the European Social Fund and the Department for the Economy
