The Sport for Development JagTag Facilitator plays a vital role in advancing Community Sports Network’s mission by using sport, specifically JagTag, to inspire health, personal growth, and community cohesion. This position focuses on delivering innovative, non-contact American football programmes, including JagTag XT Camps, Women in Sports initiatives, and Schools Activation activities, engaging diverse groups across Northern Ireland.

Key responsibilities include programme delivery, developing partnerships, and promoting CSN’s work to external stakeholders. The Facilitator will also manage operational tasks, monitor programme impact, and contribute to CSN’s strategic growth by aligning activities with organisational goals. This role is central to CSN's aim of fostering inclusion, enhancing community relations, and creating lasting social impact through sport.

The ideal Sport for Development JagTag Facilitator candidate will require a strong background in coaching American football, with a focus on delivering innovative, non-contact programmes. Essential criteria include at least six months of experience delivering sport or physical activity programmes, knowledge of American football, and access to transport for work purposes. Desirable qualifications include a JagTag Level 1 or 2 coaching certificate, additional sports coaching certifications, and First Aid and Safeguarding training (which can be completed post-employment). The ideal candidate will have experience engaging underrepresented groups, adapting programmes to diverse needs, and using a creative approach to inspire participation. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, as the role involves meeting key performance targets and contributing to the success of CSN’s sport for development programmes.
