Falls Women’s Centre invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified tutors to register for our bank of associates, to deliver a range of educational and personal development programmes as required, including from the following list:
As part of our overall services Falls Women’s Centre delivers a range of training courses/programmes including OCN Levels 1 and 2 Essential Numeracy Skills; Personal Development courses, OCN Levels 1 and 3 Community Development/Group Facilitation; OCN Level 2 Dealing with the Past/Women in Leadership/Women and Politics/Introduction to Mediation Skills/Women and Social Change; OCN Level 2 and Entry Level 3 in Computer Skills; CPCAB Counselling Courses levels 2 & 3, CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Counselling; Level 3 Childcare; Level 3 Classroom Assistant; Level 3 Health and Social Care; Creative Arts; Irish and Ulster History.
Essential Criteria:
- At least 1 years’ experience working in a training delivery environment or community education environment.
- Experience of assessment and delivering accredited programmes
- Proven presentation skills/IT skills and social media knowledge
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable - hours are flexible and may involve evening and weekend work as required.
- NB All tutor roles for OCN Essential Numeracy Skills, and CPCAB Counselling courses, carry specific essential criteria. Interested applicants should consult DoE/CPCAB guidance.
Additional Desirable Criteria
- Experience of delivering programmes in a women-only setting
- Proven experience of design and development of relevant training programmes
- Experience of preparing learning programmes for accreditation
- Experience of relevant internal and external verification
