HERe NI are seeking to recruit, through the Jobstart Scheme (age 16-24), a staff member to assist staff working on the LGBTQIA+ Heritage project. This project looks at legislative changes from 1998 to now.
Responsibilities
- General admin duties to support the LGBTQIA(plus) Heritage project.
- Engage with other staff from the HERe NI team, regarding content for all our social media platforms.
- Produce heritage graphics to assist our social media promotion.
- Monitor social media during work hours.
- Assisting with accreditation paperwork.
- Filing of documents.
- Answering phones.
- Minute taking and typing of minutes.
- Archiving of material of historical significance onto the online archive system.
- Assisting staff at history events.
- Data entry.
- General office support.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
- Knowledge of Social Media Platforms.
- Good Written Skills.
- Good verbal Skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
Desirable Skills
- Awareness and understanding of issues impacting on LGBTQIA(plus) people.
