HERe NI are seeking to recruit, through the Jobstart Scheme (age 16-24), a staff member to assist staff working on the LGBTQIA+ Heritage project. This project looks at legislative changes from 1998 to now.

Responsibilities

  • General admin duties to support the LGBTQIA(plus) Heritage project.
  • Engage with other staff from the HERe NI team, regarding content for all our social media platforms.
  • Produce heritage graphics to assist our social media promotion.
  • Monitor social media during work hours.
  • Assisting with accreditation paperwork.
  • Filing of documents.
  • Answering phones.
  • Minute taking and typing of minutes.
  • Archiving of material of historical significance onto the online archive system.
  • Assisting staff at history events.
  • Data entry.
  • General office support.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Knowledge of Social Media Platforms.
  • Good Written Skills.
  • Good verbal Skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Desirable Skills

  • Awareness and understanding of issues impacting on LGBTQIA(plus) people.
