Healthy Futures Programme Provider

Fixed term until March 2025 (with possibility of extension)

30 hours per week

£20,373.60 per annum (13.06 per hour)

Job Purpose:

Bryson Pathway’s ‘Healthy Futures’ Home and Community Based Service aims to increase the skills of parents/caregivers and individuals to enable healthier lifestyles. The main aim is to support and enable mentoring of new skills for up to 4 weeks, to enhance a healthier future. Our focus is to work with individuals to deliver healthy eating short courses using air fryers and slow cookers.

Essential Criteria:

• 5 GCSE’s at grade C and above including English Language
• Knowledge of healthy eating/ interest in cooking
• Clean drivers’ licence, access to transport and Business (Class) Car Insurance for the vehicle and driver
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a sensitive approach to people in need

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience of planning and facilitating groups/ programmes to benefit the local community
• Experience of working within community setting
• Knowledge and skills regarding community-based projects
