TinyLife, Northern Ireland’s premature baby charity, is seeking a passionate and strategic leader to head our Fundraising and Communications Team. This pivotal role will drive income generation, raise awareness, and showcase the impact of our work in supporting premature and vulnerable babies and their families.

The Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation, aligning with its mission, aims, and values.
- Develop and implement an integrated fundraising and communications strategy to secure funds and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide effective leadership and people management within the team.
- Ensure regular reporting against KPIs.
- Drive continuous improvement to meet current and future organisational needs.
- Maintain financial management and ensure effective use of resources.
- Manage risk, health and safety, quality, and compliance within the department.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A Level 3 qualification and 3 years’ experience in a senior Fundraising and Communications role (within the last 8 years).
OR - A-level qualifications and 5 years’ experience in a senior Fundraising and Communications role (within the last 8 years).
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record of developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies.
- Experience in corporate or community fundraising, generating over £400k annually.
- Expertise in individual giving strategies and event management.
- Demonstrated success in leading, managing, and motivating teams to achieve objectives.
- Experience in developing and implementing marketing and digital communications strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Strong budget management skills, ensuring delivery within agreed budgets.
- Ability to secure funding through networking and presentations.
- Experience in managing websites and social media platforms.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in securing funding from charitable trusts and grant-making bodies.
- An understanding of prematurity and its impact on babies and families.
Additional Requirements (Essential):
- Eligibility to work in Northern Ireland.
- Full driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
- Proficiency in ICT systems, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, CRM systems, and social media platforms.
