Gateways to Rural Participation Programme co-ordinator

The NWCP would like to recruit for the post of Gateways to Rural Participation co-ordinator.  Based at the Sollus Centre at Bready, and working in the Derg, Faughan and Sperrin District Electoral areas with a particular interest to Protestant, Unionist, loyalist rural identities as well as wider rural groups the project will bring diverse, sometime polarised communities together, building relationships, trust and breaking down barriers through conducting an audit of needs, then engaging groups to participate in a tailored capacity building/leadership training, learning by ‘doing’ and a range of connectivity and social sustainability events.  The post- holder will be responsible for co-ordinating all elements of the programme. This is a full- time 2 year post NJC Scale 22 (£31,364 pa) from time of appointment.  This is a project supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
