As the demand for the services provided by the Hospice continues to increase, so does the need to grow our support base and income across the Southern Trust region. Our income generation strategy reflects our ambition to meet this need and the successful candidate will work to help deliver it.
The Role:
We are currently recruiting a Fundraising Officer, to work as part of the Income Generation Team to generate annual income by organising, marketing and implementing fundraising events in line with agreed targets and budgets.
The successful candidate will work to strengthen existing supporter relationships, identify new opportunities and create strategies to build greater awareness to increase income enabling the Hospice (SAH) to grow its services to best meet the future needs of the local community.
If you are enthusiastic and self-motivated with a degree plus one year’s experience or have two years’ experience working in fundraising, marketing, events management, PR, B2B or B2C sales and are interested in developing your career with the Hospice and playing a key role in supporting your local community, then we want to hear from you. There will be occasional weekend and evening work, so flexibility is essential.
