Freelance Self Employed Campus Assistant with note taking (Belfast Campus)

£24 per hour
We require campus assistants with note taking for our Belfast campus who are educated to degree level (or equivalent), and have experience of taking detailed and accurate notes, and have experience supporting people with disabilities. https://www.ulster.ac.uk/wellbeing/disability/register/support-provider…

Duties include

  1. To assist the student in accessing campus facilities as required. This may include opening doors, carrying bags, assistance in canteen facilities and orientation around campus.
  2. Support students in specialist tasks such as assistance during practical classes.
  3. Attend lectures, tutorials and other classes and take notes as requested.
  4. Agree the required content and format of notes with the student.
  5. Produce accurate, clear, accessible and appropriately detailed notes for students in the required format.
  6. Provide an accurate typed copy of the notes to students within an agreed time limit, not more than 3 days after the lecture.
  7. Offer clarification on any notes that are not clear to the student within an agreed time period. How to become a support provider - Ulster University
