FINANCE CONTACT - Newry Support Group

Do you have a head for numbers? Parkinson's UK Newry Support Group is looking for a new finance contact to record the day to day finances and be part of a team offering support and friendship to local people affected by Parkinson's.

We are currently starting up a new support group in the Newry area providing local support, opportunities to make friends, get information and enjoy activities. The wider public often doesn't understand the different symptoms that affect people with Parkinson's so it becomes more difficult to go out. Parkinson's UK support groups offer a safe space where anyone affected by the condition can enjoy time, out of the house, with other people.

As finance contact you will be recording the financial trainsactions, reconciling the bank account each month and completing a financial return at the end of each financial year -all of which will be fully supported by Parkinson's UK staff.

If you have a couple of hours to spare each week and want to use your skills and experience to support people in your local community, please get in touch and find out more about the role.

You need to be comfortable with email and used to using digital software such as spreadsheets while previous bookkeeping experience would be an advantage.
