
Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful’s strategic plan 2020-2025 states that we must go further faster together in making transformational changes that deliver sustainable lifestyles for all in our society and Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful’s Field Officers (FO) play a key role in achieving this; the roles span the breadth of our programmes and certifications, with no two days the same. The FOs work with and support a range of stakeholders, from teachers and community leaders to national beach operators, engaging them to change behaviours and affect positive environmental behaviours. The role will involve the delivery of environmental education workshops, to a variety of settings, planning and facilitating events, and undertaking environmental assessments and surveys in a range of locations including beaches, streets, schools, parks and businesses.
The Location
These roles have been specifically developed to be ‘on the ground’ supporting communities across Northern Ireland (information on the mileage policy can be requested from enquiries@keepnorthernirelandbeautiful.org). To ensure accurate reporting to our funders, administrative and reporting duties are integral to the role, therefore, Field Officers will have home/office base time allocated to the completion of this task.
