Facilities Assistant
Clifton House
Main Responsibilities
Prepare and assist in the delivery of events held in the Heritage Centre.
- Preparation of event facilities under the instruction of the Facilities and Events Officer
Basic maintenance, risk management and health and safety of the facility.
- Maintaining Health and Safety Risk Register and reporting to Facilities and Events Officer any incident or accident
- Routine maintenance inspections and reporting to Facilities and Events Officer any area of concern in relation to maintenance requirements or provision of event equipment.
- Routine health and safety testing and recording of health and safety logs for inspections.
Cleaning of office and event facilities of an historic venue.
- Establish and maintain a regular calendar of cleaning duties ie) daily, weekly and monthly
- General cleaning of communal event areas / toilets and offices within Clifton House Heritage Centre
- Specialist cleaning of historic event facilities
- Management and ordering of cleaning materials and disposables
- Ensure staff kitchen and service kitchens are maintained in an appropriate manner
Exterior Cleaning
- Ensure front entrance / steps are clean and free from rubbish
- Disposal of all rubbish in an appropriate manner
Catering Assistance
- Arrange the set-up of catering and deliver catering service to clients as required
Any other duties appropriate to the post as required
