• To support victims of Sexual Violence through their journey of the Criminal Justice System. This will include liaisons with multiple Criminal Justice bodies and supporting victims to arrange/ attend medical and Legal appointments. The worker will have to visit individuals in their own homes or in safe places and provide advice and guidance on the Legal System, Victims’ rights and health services. • To contribute to the effective day-to-day operation of the Scheme in accordance with Advocacy VSV Memorandum and Articles of Association, Advocacy VSV Standards and Methods of Best Practice, Advocacy VSV Agreement and Quality Assurance Standards. • To maintain high standards of practice supporting Victims within Advocacy VSV model. • To ensure equality of opportunity, fairness and diversity on all aspects of the schemes work. • Implement good safeguarding practice in all areas of work. • To be willing to undertake relevant training to ensure high standard of practice.
