
Main purpose and role:
•Support project delivery in the Ulster Museum
•Provide a warm welcome to families
•Direction giving to meeting space, toilets etc
•Snack time food preparation, serving and clearing up
•Help with creative learning activities including setting up art materials and clearing up
•Assist with logistics of moving groups around the museum
•Interact with children and adults to make their visitor experience as positive as possible

Additional points of note:
•The programme takes place on Mondays 9.30am – 1pm
•We ask that you attend a minimum of 5 Mondays per 8 week programme
•Full Induction will be provided
Skills You'll Need
• Positive and patient communication style
• Capable of tailoring communication style to a range of different audiences
• Enjoy supporting young children and their parents/caregivers
• Early Years experience although not necessary can be helpful
• Any food preparation and serving experience will be useful
• This is an energetic role, volunteers will be busy and active
• Ability to work on own initiative, to notice when someone may require assistance.
• Flexibility to support a team in a range of ways
