Early Years Assistant

Permanent - 20 hours per week

£11.57 per hour

Job Purpose:

The role of the Early Years Assistant will be to deliver quality early year’s services to support the delivery of the Sure Start programme within the Lisburn Sure Start area.

Essential Criteria:

• Minimum of QCF Level 3 Child Care qualification or equivalent (completed or working towards)
• 5 GCSE’s at grade C and above including maths and English
• Clean drivers’ licence and access to transport. 
• 6 months experience of recording observations and record keeping
• Knowledge of early childhood education and development through play
• Minimum of 1 years paid / unpaid working with children or families

Desirable Criteria:

• Clean drivers’ licence and access to transport.
