We are excited to announce an opportunity for skilled and dedicated professionals to join our team as Associates in Suicide Prevention. Suicide Down to Zero is committed to enhancing health and promoting wellbeing through evidence-based practices, innovative approaches, and collaborative efforts.
Role Overview
As an Associate in Suicide Down to Zero you will support schools, sports clubs and/or workplaces to become suicide safer spaces through our whole system evidence-based approach.
There are 3 roles on offer:
- Associate 1 will work with local schools x 1 day per week @ £30 per hour
- Associate 2 will work with local sports clubs x 1 day per week @ £30 per hour
- Associate 3 will work with local businesses x 1 day per week @ £30 per hour
In addition, 1 Associate will support the Associate team in a supervisory role with an additional 2 hours per week @ £35 per hour

- Supporting Suicide Awareness sessions
- Promoting Suicide Down to Zero Suicide Awareness & Prevention Training
- Collaborating with other community, voluntary and statutory organisations
- Maintaining records in line with Suicide Down to Zero policies and good practice
- Attending support sessions with the Suicide Down to Zero associate team
