The post holder will assist the Disability Co-ordinator in the development and day-to-day delivery of the disability programme, ensuring excellent engagement with participants, carers and funders.

Job Purpose

The post holder will assist the Co-ordinator in the development and day-to-day delivery of the disability programme, ensuring excellent engagement with participants, carers and funders.

Key Responsibilities

  • To support the planning and delivery of the disability programme, which delivers an excellent service for participants, carers and funders
  • To provide support, guidance and supervision to our staff team and volunteers
  • To communicate with staff and carers on a regular basis, in person and digitally
  • To take charge of running clubs in the coordinator’s absence
  • To work directly with participants in our clubs, modelling best practice to staff and volunteers, and enabling participants to develop personally, socially and educationally. This will include providing personal care to those who need it.
  • Support the Coordinator in the implementation of organisational policies, including our Health and Safety and Safeguarding of Children and Vulnerable Adults.
  • Under the direction of the line manager take delegated responsibilities for elements of delivery of project activities and provide administration for the whole programme.

Hours

26 hours per week, including 4.30pm – 7.30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays

Salary

Based on an hourly rate of £12.70
