About Creative Village Dundrum
We are a local arts organisation with ambitious plans to maintain, develop and grow a programme of creative activities for the local community. We currently offer a mixture of creative workshops/classes, one-off events, drop-in arts activities and support wider community activities and events in Dundrum village, County Down.
We would like to appoint a new treasurer to perform all duties concerned with dealing with money, acting as both the bookkeeper/accountant and finance manager for the charity. The role includes:
- Ensuring that adequate financial records and controls are in place, including setting and maintaining annual budget
- Leading on keeping financial records up to date and ensuring all finance related policies and procedures are adhered to
- Processing payment of invoices for workshop facilitators, banking of fundraised income
- Supporting with fundraising activities, including grant applications where appropriate
- Working with trustees and wider organising committee members to support the ongoing activities at Creative Village Dundrum
Time commitment approximately 4-6 hours per month, including quarterly trustee meetings and the opportunity to join monthly organising committee meetings. All of our meetings and events take place in our community hub in Church View, Dundrum
