PART TIME POST        COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & SOCIAL MEDIA OFFICER

TEMPORARY CONTRACT    APRIL - DECEMBER 2025, 
                (with a possible extension of up to six months)

CLOSING DATE        Noon on Friday 28th March 2025

SALARY            Circa £23,000 for 30 hours per week.

LOCATION            Saintfield

Saintfield Community Association has been awarded a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to convert the field behind Saintfield Community Centre into a community heritage park, to be known as Windmill Park.  To ensure that as many people as possible are aware of the Windmill Park, SCA is seeking a Community Engagement & Social Media Officer for the project.  The role will include contacting schools, churches, community groups and sports clubs in the Saintfield area, in person and using social media, to explain the Windmill Park ambitions and encourage new people to get involved with various activities during 2025 and in the future.

The ideal person will be able to work on their own initiative, enjoy communicating with people and groups and have an interest in local history and heritage.
