Job Title: Community Development Worker
Hours: 18.5 hours per week
Gross Salary:£12.50 an hour
Location: Annadale and Haywood Residents Association
Responsible to: Assisting with the day-to-day running of the office administration, including the upkeep of financial and associated paperwork.
Roles and Responsibilities
Administration Duties:
- Financial Record-Keeping:
- Update and maintain records of daily income and expenditures.
- Record all cheques issued and received.
- Administrative Support:
- Complete necessary forms related to funding, such as monitoring and evaluation forms.
- Assist with funding applications.
- Maintain up-to-date databases of users and volunteers.
- Reception and Public Interaction:
- Provide a reception service for the public.
- Complete monitoring & evaluation forms, including sign-in sheets and visitors' records.
Supporting Community Development Programme:
- Organise and Support Community Events:
- Plan and execute various community events.
- Youth Programmes:
- Assist in the development and delivery of youth-focused programmes.
- Cultural Diversity and Cross-Community Programmes:
- Promote and facilitate programmes that encourage cultural diversity and cross-community interaction.
- Educational Workshops:
- Organise and support workshops that provide educational opportunities for the community.
- Community Garden Activities:
- Support and engage with activities related to the community garden.
- Community Safety Initiative:
- Participate in initiatives aimed at improving community safety.
- Health & Wellbeing Activities:
- Promote and organize activities focused on health and wellbeing.
- Senior Citizens Programme:
- Develop and support programmes specifically for senior citizens.
- Educational Awareness Workshops:
- Organise workshops aimed at increasing awareness on various topics relevant to the community.
