We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Coffee Shop Manager to lead The Old School House Café, a 35-seat coffee shop situated in the tranquil surroundings of Somerton House. As the face of this exciting income-generating initiative, you will oversee all operations, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional service while driving profitability and customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day management, including staff and volunteer recruitment, stock control, and financial performance. You'll work closely with the Enterprise and Business Development Manager to meet sales targets and promote the café through marketing initiatives and social media. Your leadership will create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for visitors, reflecting the ethos of the Northern Ireland Hospice.
Key responsibilities include managing team performance, maintaining health and safety standards, planning staff rotas, and ensuring operational excellence.
