
Our CYP Advocates work directly with children and young people progressing through the criminal justice process, from crisis to court, assessing risk, undertaking safety planning, advocating and working with statutory and non-statutory agencies to ensure all victims can achieve as safe and informed pathway to justice as possible. At ASSIST NI, our staff are absolute powerhouses of knowledge and information, in the incredibly privileged position of working to empower victims in a trauma-informed way.
