VOLUNTEERING Volunteer Counsellor Childline Foyle, 1st Floor Exchange House, BT48 7AS Web link: https://join-us.nspcc.org.uk/volunteers/vacancy/childline-volunteer-inf…

Childline Foyle are looking for Volunteer Counsellors to listen to calls and chats from children and young people.  No experience is necessary as full training will be provided.

Childline is a vital service available 365 days a year to support children and young people, whatever their worry or concern.

Volunteers will gain worthwhile communication skills and experience of working in a team environment whilst also making a huge difference to the lives of the children and young people who contact us.  We couldn’t keep the Childline service running 24/7 without our volunteers.

We ask for a commitment of one 4 hour shift per week and we have a range of shifts for you to choose from.

Could you make a difference to children’s lives by being there when they feel they have no one else to turn to?

If you are interested in volunteering for Childline in Foyle and want to find out more about the roles available, the next step is to attend a Volunteer Information Meeting, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn about this volunteering opportunity and to meet with staff as well as volunteers to ask any questions you may have.

You can book on to one of our Information Sessions by clicking the link below:
