Chief Executive Officer (Home-based)
The International Prader-Willi Syndrome Organisation

Who we are
The International Prader-Willi Syndrome Organisation (IPWSO) was founded in 1991 by a group of parents and professionals to promote better information, support and international co-operation in order to bring about improvements in the lives of people with Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). Since then we have grown to become an international membership body with 46 full (fee paying) country members and contacts in over 120 countries. IPWSO has been registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales since 2019.
The Role
The role of CEO at IPWSO is both challenging and rewarding. You can help deliver change for people affected by PWS from across the globe by helping us build solidarity, promoting scientific reasoning and research, helping to foster new relationships, supporting our members, and striving for equality for all those affected by the syndrome.
You will work alongside passionate volunteers and experts in PWS from across all continents and with a skilled and small staff team based in the UK. We are all dedicated to making a tangible difference!
The ideal candidate will bring strategic thinking, leadership experience and a commitment to promoting a more equal world where all people with PWS can achieve their full potential regardless of their economic, geographic or family circumstances. The CEO will act as IPWSO’s ambassador by representing us at educational events and by networking in order to build new strategic relationships. The role will suit an individual with experience within the charitable sector.
