Job Purpose:

Providing basic one to one support for CFSP participants in CV-building and job search activities as well as marketing and administrative support for the CFSP team.  Reporting directly to CFSP regional co-ordinator.

 

Responsibilities:

Provide ‘front of house’ welcome and support for all participants (‘drop-in’ and appointments).

Provide 1-1 job search and CV building support to CFSP participants.

Assist with job search activities including trawling vacancies, sending mail shots and providing administrative support to staff.

Assist with basic marketing/promotion of the CFSP Programme.

Provide administrative support for the CFSP Team including processing, photocopying, making and receiving calls, ensuring that records and statistical information is readily available.

Maintain a develop the ICT Systems including security and back up.

Maintain accurate CFSP records, updating the in-house Management Information System and ESIF database on a regular basis.

Ensuring that all information and statistics are completed to the standards and deadlines stipulated by the funding bodies.

 

What we are looking for:

4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C or above to include English and Maths OR Essential Skills Numeracy & Literacy.

Have, or be willing to work towards, Level 3 qualification in Advice & Guidance, Mentoring, Coaching, Counselling or demonstrable equivalent.

Experience of working in an administration role within a busy office environment.

Significant experience of maintaining manual office documents.

Significant experience of maintaining filing systems.

Experience of recording/collating statistics.

Strong knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Excellent written communication skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work productively in a fast paced environment.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to a high degree of accuracy.

Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes or ability to demonstrate alternative method of being able to fulfil any travel related duties of the role.
