Carrick Greengrocers Shop Manager - 20 hrs per week

This is the type of job where you are dealing with orders and deliveries, managing stock on our till system, trying to reduce waste, selling our products that you will become more knowledgeable about over time, while also brushing the floor and putting the bins out – and working alongside our board of directors to ensure the business is viable.

If you have run a small business before we’d love to hear from you – but if you haven’t and you’re interested in learning, this could be the perfect job for you.

We have a team of volunteers ready to help and there is plenty of variety to keep you interested and busy.

• Working days: 20 hours per week, over 5 days (working pattern to be confirmed). Hours will be kept under review
• Salary:  £12.51 per hour
• Pension: 3%
• Holidays: 20 days per annum and 10 public holidays (pro rata)
• Contract Term: Permanent with a probationary period of 6 months
• Location: West St, Carrickfergus
• Start date: to be agreed, as soon as possible
