As Secretary you will be maintaining the contact list of group members and making sure they are kept up to date with news from Parkinson's UK, in the form of a monthly newsletter which is provided at the start of each month, and with the group meeting schedule or any updates from the branch committee.

You will also be taking minutes at the committee meetings, sending copies to the committee members and to the branch staff contact.

There is also an annual AGM so it will be your responsibility to prepare the necessary paperwork according to the Parkinson's UK guidance.

The branch holds the support group meetings monthly, on the 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Omagh Library from 2.30 - 4.00pm and, as secretary, you will be attending to welcome new members, make sure they have the information they need about the branch and take their contact details.

This is a perfect role for anyone retired who has 2-3 hours per week to spare.

You will need to be comfortable using email and the internet and enjoy meeting people.

There will be full support provided by Parkinson's UK staff and full information and training provided as needed.
