Love Museums? Care about their future? We are looking for passionate volunteers to help with this exciting new project!

The Liminal Space have been working with Ulster Museum since September 2023 on a new prototyping project. The aim of this project is to facilitate conversation with visitors and staff around the museum’s new masterplan and prototype new ways of public engagement. The Bout Ye Prototype concept has been created with input and conversations with both staff, the museum network and the wider public.

Bout Ye? Speaks to local people, and seeks to find out how they are, and what’s important to them in relation to Ulster Museum.

Volunteers will be supporting Bout Ye? By engaging with visitors and supporting the installations around the Ulster Museum.

The new installations will be a talking point for visitors, prompting them to think about the museum and what they would like to see happening in future. Volunteers will work with staff, inviting visitors to seek out and engage in various artwork and feedback opportunities. Volunteers will be briefed to ask visitors about their experience of using the installations and capture the responses written in the space.
