Our apprenticeship numbers continue to grow and demand for our Vehicle Maintenance and Repair programmes has created the need for an additional Automotive Trainer to join our team at Transport Training Services, Nutts Corner, Crumlin, County Antrim.

Transport Training Services is the trading name of the Transport Training Board for Northern Ireland.  We are the largest training provider for automotive apprenticeships in Northern Ireland with over 280 apprentices on our records and links to the industry dating back over 50 years.

Due to our continued expansion, we require an Automotive Trainer (Heavy Vehicle/Light Vehicle) to join our team.  Our apprentices attend our specialist training centre on a block release programme where they undertake their off-the-job training every eight weeks and develop their skills with their employer for seven weeks.  This cycle continues for the three years of their apprenticeship.

If you think you’ve got what it takes to train the next generation of light vehicle and/or heavy vehicle apprentices, if you have a passion for all things automotive and have been working in the trade for at least 5 years post-qualification and would like to pass on your skills and knowledge to a new group of apprentices, we’d love to hear from you.

To apply for this exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-looking training organisation, please send us your up-to-date CV and ensure you address the essential criteria listed in the person specification below to [email protected] Depending upon the interest shown in this vacancy, we may have to consider those who also meet the desirable criteria.

Canvassing is prohibited, however, if you would like to have an informal discussion with our Training Director, Stephen Wilkinson, prior to submitting your CV, please call us on 028 9082 5653.

The closing date for the receipt of applications is 3:00 PM Friday 31st May 2024 or until the position is filled.
