ASCERT Self Employed Sessional Counsellors

Minimum requirements for these positions are:

• Recognised professional qualification in counselling (minimum Level 4)
• Accredited or working towards Accreditation within 1 year
• 250 hours post qualification experience
• Membership of a professional body ie: BACP/NCPS/IACP

Desirable criteria:

• Level 5 Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
