We are currently seeking passionate and motivated Advisers to join our team. You will be working for a charity committed to making sure that advice services are accessible and available across Northern Ireland.

About the role:  

As an Adviser, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking help, advice or information. Quality of advice and giving a great client experience are key in running our business.  You are expected to provide a multi-channel service and be agile in doing so.  Teamwork and good communication are both essential.

About you:  

To be successful in the role, you will have an advice background with a qualification in Advice provided by Advice NI or Law Centre NI. You will also bring with you the following skills and experience:

  • Empathy– understanding and responding to clients’ distress appropriately.
  • Good knowledge of GDPR and client confidentiality.
  • Ability to convey complex information in a way that is appropriate to the situation.
  • Ability to create a positive working environment in which equality and diversity are well managed.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written. 
  • Proven ability to build relationships with staff at all levels.
  • Proven ability to prioritise effectively, to multi-task and to cope well under pressure.
