ADVICE TEAM LEADER

Advice Space, formerly Citizens Advice Belfast, is all about making sure that advice services are accessible and available across Northern Ireland. We support clients in delivering quality services and speaking up for them where we can.  We work with a variety of other charities developing and delivering specialist advice services to their service users.

With experience in the advice sector, you will have a good knowledge of Advice Quality Standards. You will work closely with management and advisor teams making sure that a quality service is provided to Advice Space clients, carrying out regular quality checks, assessments and internal audits. It’s an opportunity to make an impact – making improvements and implementing solutions where the service isn’t what it needs to be. It’s important that you feel confident in supporting staff and volunteers to achieve this.

With experience of creating reports and spreadsheets, you will have the ability to present your findings and trends. Good time management skills, the ability to multi-task and cope well under pressure is vital for this role.

A completed OCN Adviser Training Programme (ATP) or equivalent (e.g. Welfare Rights Advice Programme formerly known as WRAP) is essential for this position.
