Addiction Counsellor

Northlands was established 50 years ago with the purpose to reduce and relieve the suffering caused by addiction.  Today we continue to work alongside people who are addicted, and their families with the aim to helping them achieve a good recovery, improved quality of life and greater independence.

We are currently in one of the most transformative phases of our history and we have an exciting opportunity open to a dynamic and committed individual interested in joining an innovative and creative team to deliver counselling services within in our Residential and Non-residential programmes at our treatment centre, Shepherds Way, Dungiven Road, Derry/Londonderry.

The successful candidates will be expected to: hold a recognised counselling qualification or an equivalent relevant qualification, with a minimum of one year’s experience of working in a supervised counselling setting or similar field.
