The Prince's Trust is a youth charity that helps change young lives. We give practical and financial support, developing key workplace skills, such as confidence and motivation. We work with 13 to 30-year-olds who have struggled at school, have been in care, are long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law. We have helped more than 825,000 young people since 1976 and support 100 more each working day. More than three in four young people we helped last year moved into work, education or training.

The Fairbridge programme empowers disengaged and marginalised young people through a combination of group activities, opportunities, experiences, and one-to-one support to help them gain the personal, social and life skills needed to stabilise their life circumstances and eventually move into education, employment, training or volunteering.

The successful candidate will be experienced in working with young people from The Trust's target group and dealing with challenging behaviour.  They must have the ability to facilitate personal and social development of young people, and should be able to demonstrate that they understand the challenges that face disadvantaged young people in their area.  They will also have an enthusiasm and passion for the work of The Prince's Trust and a conviction to deliver high positive outcomes for the young people we support.
