2880 - Team Manager (Social Worker) - Young People's Project, Newry and Armagh

Barnardo's are seeking an experienced energetic Social Worker to  be the Team Manager in our Young People's Project in Newry and Armagh.  The successful candidate will be working alongside the Children's Service Manager and a team including Social Workers, Outreach Workers and CHAMS workers to support young people at risk and help maintain them at home and the local community.

The successful candidate must have experience in delivering effective interventions with adolescents and of supervising front line staff and/or volunteers.  This post has an additional market supplement of £3,456 per annum.

Base: You will be based in Newry.  However, you will be required to work across YPP Newry and YPP Armagh.

Hours per week: 37

Hours of Business: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Out of hours working: Occasional evening work.

Salary: £26,966 - £36,680 plus market supplement (£3,456) per annum

‘Market supplements will be awarded for a maximum initial period of three years and be reviewed annually. Supplements can be removed at any time with three months notice'.
