GRAHAM Construction is working on behalf of Translink to undertake the Redevelopment of York Street Station. This event held at NICVA aims to provide an opportunity for groups in the Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise sectors and local representatives within North Belfast to find out more about the project, to meet with the wider project team and our client Translink, and to explore opportunities to support local community needs and initiatives.

The event will enable you to chat to the project team on a range of themes including:

- Better general understanding of the York Street Station Redevelopment Project

- How to access regular updates on works development and progress

- Pre-employment programme support for unemployed client groups

- Information on paid/unpaid employment opportunities throughout the project (eg Buy Social, entry-level roles, professional roles, apprenticeships, etc)

- Industry Insight Training for our mentors/career advisors 

- Opportunities for pupils, students and/or teachers through our educational outreach programmes

- General Community Project Support (eg through our volunteering, donations in kind, repurposing waste and/or business mentoring activities)

- Bespoke Construction/Community Partnerships

    Northern Ireland has the highest proportion of jobs paid below the real Living Wage in the UK, with some council areas seeing rates as high as one in four.
